Crepes Company was created in 1985
under the association of Isabelle Beaujard, a descendant of a famous
crepe making family in Gourin (Brittany), and Thierry Boisson, a
former crepe chef of France.
In 1984, Thierry left the
creperie where
he was working as a busboy to create his first crepes kiosk. After
a great season, Thierry opened his first restaurant with the financial
help of his partner, Isabelle. From the start, the business flourished.
Within the first year, they had opened up a second unit, and a third
unit was opened in the year following.
